Afghanistan Women's Justice Movement

International Women’s Day 8th March,

Message of Resilience and Solidarity

On the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Solidarity Day, the Women’s Justice Movement of Afghanistan extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the women of the world, especially the courageous women of Afghanistan who continue to struggle under inhumane and oppressive conditions.

We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to standing alongside all women who resist discrimination, violence and gender-based oppression.

Today, the women of Afghanistan are not only deprived of their fundamental human rights but are also facing a system that openly seeks to erase them from society. What is happening to Afghanistan women is nothing short of #Gender_Apartheid and the world must not remain silent in the face of this crime.

We call on all international organizations, governments, human rights defenders and civil society to go beyond expressions of concern and take concrete and decisive action to end the Taliban’s gender apartheid.

This is a human rights crisis that demands more than diplomatic condemnations and empty promises.

We will stand together.

We will not be silent and we will continue our struggle until the rights of women in #Afghanistan and around the world are recognized, protected and upheld.

Justice for women, freedom for Afghanistan!
